Robert joined AML Oceanographic in 2002. President since 2006 and Owner since 2009, Robert greatly enjoys leading a technology company with global aspirations. Fluent in English, Spanish and French, Robert has lived and worked in North America, Latin America, and Europe. Email Robert
Pete joined AML in 2000 as a member of our Mechanical Engineering team. From product design and testing, Pete moved on to take control of our Production Team in 2006. After eight years in sales, most recently guiding AML's Customer Team as Director of Customer Success, Pete is now leveraging his experiences across the organization as VP of Operations. Email Pete
Director of Strategic Development
Dustin earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, after which he worked for several years designing instruments and sensors in the forestry sector before joining AML in October of 2011. After a couple years as Mechanical Designer of AML’s instrumentation and a couple more leading design and manufacturing operations, Dustin now directs the strategic development team focused on creating innovative solutions for the ocean sensing market. Chris has an M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and has a background in the research and development of novel fibre-optic based sensors. Prior to joining AML, he worked overseas for a number of years with a consulting firm in Australia’s mining industry. After several years in product development at AML - most notably our award-winning UV biofouling control technology - Chris now guides our products' paths to market and beyond as Product Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in project management, system operations, and sales in the ocean industry, Darrell brings a wealth of knowledge to his position of Project Manager at AML. A Professional Engineer graduating from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1998, Darrell started with Brooke Ocean Technology (BOT) in 2003, staying on through acquisitions by ODIM and subsequently Rolls Royce. An Electrical Engineer by training, James joined AML in 2011 to further accelerate our international sales growth. Fluent in Japanese, James lived in Japan for six years before returning to combine his technical background with his interest in technology sales. Having managed a variety of regions and market segments at AML, James draws on extensive experience to support our customers in the Western hemisphere. Email James

David joins AML with a wealth of sales and business development experience in the global maritime industry after 29 years with Kongsberg Maritime. A strong collaborator, David is adept at operating across diverse markets and cultures, having worked in Europe, South East Asia, North America, and the Middle East. Based near Aberdeen, Scotland, David’s main focus is supporting the success of AML’s clients in the regions of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Email David

With an MBA and over 10 years’ experience working with private, government, and higher education sectors in China and Canada, Jackie combines his knowledge of Eastern and Western culture to support his clients. Previously, Jackie was the Business Development Manager for Hawboldt Industries, responsible for promoting and selling winch solutions in Asia. Jackie’s top priority at AML is ensuring the success of our customers in the Asia Pacific region. Email Jackie

Mark has over 20 years of experience in program management, business operations, and sales in the ocean industry. He is a Certified Engineering Technologist, graduated from the Nova Scotia Community College - Institute of Technology Campus in 1997. Matt has been involved in the field of oceanographic instrumentation for 15 years and has extensive experience with field installations of oceanographic systems. After several years heading our Production Team, Matt's focus as Technical Services Specialist is to provide customers with comprehensive, timely technical support. Email Matt
