Multi-Parameter Sonde

AML-6: The Most Configurable

The AML-6 can be configured with all AML Sensors. With 6 modular sensor ports on the endcap, endless configurations can be created to measure various parameters, making it suitable for Science & Environmental Monitoring projects. The AML-6 is often used to measure CTD, DO2 and other oceanographic parameters such as pH, Chlorophyl and Turbidity. It can also feature UV Biofouling Control for enhanced data integrity and prolonged maintenance intervals, all the while maintaining an eco-friendly profile, without TBT!

Compatible sensors

Why choose AML?

AML has over 45 years of history manufacturing conductivity sensors, with thousands delivered to customers worldwide. Our 4 electrode-conductive conductivity cell is a stable, mature technology that has been repeatedly proven itslef in side-by-side deployments with SeaBird CTDs, operating at equivalent levels of in-field performance.

Unique features of AML-6:

  • AML-6 stands out in the market for its compact design, providing a practical alternative to bulkier solutions.
  • With the fastest turnaround in the industry for CTD or SVP instruments, our modular sensor-head approach ensures you receive exactly what you need promptly.
  • AML-6 boasts the largest available selection of end-cap sensor heads in oceanography, enhancing research capabilities and providing in-field redundancy. All AML sensors are compatible with AML instruments, thus ensuring a ‘fit to purpose’ configuration is always available.
  • Streamline your maintenance and recalibration processes; only the sensor heads need to be sent for recalibration, not the entire instrument.
