X2change™ Sensor: ORP

Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) sensors are used to measure the activity of oxidizers and reducers in an aqueous solution. AML Oceanographic offers two versions of the ORP sensor. The NaCl (Sodium Chloride) Reference is a longer lasting reference electrode in seawater environments which is good for long-term in-situ deployments. The KCl (Potassium Chloride) Reference is better suited for standard profile data collection. It is also commonly used for fresh water applications. These sensors are most commonly used to assess water quality. Powered by Idronaut, all X2change™ ORP sensors have an accuracy of ±10 mV, resolution of 1 mV and a response time of T63 < 1 s. X2change™ is the industry’s leading family of field-swappable sensor heads. Each sensor head contains its own embedded calibration and can be moved from instrument to instrument without impacting accuracy. Changing sensors is easy: simply unscrew one sensor head and replace it with another.
