X2change™ Sensor: Conductivity & Temperature

Conductivity-Temperature (CT) sensors are used for characterizing the water column. CT sensors with a range of 0-90 mS/cm and -5 to 45°C are ideal for oceanographic applications; those with a range of 0-5 mS/cm and -5 to 45°C are best suited for freshwater or low salinity environments. Regardless of conductivity range, all X2change™ CT sensors have an accuracy of ±0.01 mS/cm and 0.005 °C, resolution of 0.001 mS/cm and 0.001 °C and a response time of 25 ms (conductivity) and 100 ms (temperature). X2change™ is the industry’s leading family of field-swappable sensor heads. Each sensor head contains its own embedded calibration and can be moved from instrument to instrument without impacting accuracy. Changing sensors is easy: simply unscrew one sensor head and replace it with another.
