Sailfish 2.0.0.0: Smarter Exporting, Improved GPS, Faster Connections
We’ve rolled out a series of upgrades to make Sailfish - AML’s software platform for instrument setup, sampling, and data management - faster, smarter, and even easier to use.
Version 2.0.0.0 introduces major improvements to exporting and GPS integration, along with a more intuitive setup and faster, more reliable connections.

More Flexible Exporting
- Auto-Export now supports multiple output formats simultaneously
- Generates both upcast and downcast files
Improved GPS Integration
- GPS Listener interface moved to the top of the main screen with clear, intuitive status icons
- Persistent GPS Listener (automatically starts when enabled)
- TCP/IP connection support
- Continuous GPS location updates in Manual mode
- Automatic instrument time synchronization on connection
Faster, More Reliable Connections
- Faster Wi-Fi connection speeds
- Improved connection reliability across the board
- Visible Wi-Fi strength icon added

- Toggle between Auto and Manual sampling modes
- Configurable Auto-mode logging thresholds (Pressure, SV, Conductivity)
- One-click “restore defaults” for thresholds
- Persistent COM Port and Baud Rate settings
- Configurable download folder for sensor calibration certificates
